From the fruit of its magnificent pergola vineyards, cultivated on granite and poor soils, the winery owned by the Grupo González Byass, Pazos de Lusco, crafted Lusco Albariño 2025, a complex and creamy white wine resulting from a strict manual selection of the best grapes on the sorting table and a vinification process in contact with its fine lees.
Belonging to the D.O. Rías Baixas, this is a limited production wine that represents the essence of the Galician terroir. Lusco Albariño 2025 will be the perfect companion for all kinds of warm tapas, rice dishes, seafood, and fish like baked hake or grilled turbot.

Lusco Albariño is a bright white wine with a straw color at the center of the glass and golden reflections, with a nose of melon, pear, lemon, fennel, and toasted hazelnut. On the palate, it offers roundness and balance.
The 16th-century palace known as Pazo Piñeiro, expanded and remodeled in the 19th century, serves as the base of operations for the winery Pazos de Lusco. Located in Condado de Tea (southern area of the D.O. Rías Baixas), 40 km from the Atlantic, it has 6 hectares of vineyards on the estate itself, divided into 6 subplots by orientation and soil type. In general, the vineyard grows on land that imparts minerality to its wines.
In the winery, it is characterized by artisanal, low-intervention work to achieve the maximum expression of the grape. In the field, there is rigorous work, a practically mountain viticulture that is committed to sustainability, with periodic maturity controls and practices to prevent the high humidity of the area from harming the health of the plants. The vines grow on poor soils and have low yields (4,500 kg per hectare).
Pazos de Lusco is focused on aged Albariños. They produce Lusco, a white wine with hints of salinity and minerality, and, in some vintages, Pazo Piñeiro.
