Los Loros Listán Blanco 2024 originates from the granitic and clay sandy soils at various altitudes in the municipality of Arafo, located in the midlands of the Güímar Valley in Tenerife. A single-varietal listán blanco, crafted from a meticulous selection of hand-harvested grapes, which were destemmed and lightly pressed to undergo a 24-hour settling process, followed by fermentation at controlled temperature for 10-12 days. A 3-month aging on its lees, with weekly stirrings, in stainless steel tanks resulted in a fantastic and authentic Canarian white wine you cannot miss.

The winery

The El Borujo estate, located in the municipality of Arafo in Tenerife, at an altitude of between 750 and 800 meters above sea level, is home to the vineyard owned by Bodega Juan Francisco Fariña Pérez, a family-run winery founded in 1999.

The winery produces handcrafted wines under the D.O. Valle de Güímar, which perfectly express the native grape varieties (listán blanco, marmajuelo, albillo criollo, gual, moscatel, or vijariego blanco), the climate, and the terroir of this area of the Canary Islands.
