General Information

Livio Felluga Pinot Grigio 2022 is a single-varietal white wine made from Pinot Grigio, favored by the cold climates on the slopes of the northern Italian mountains, where it finds its ideal habitat.

The selected vineyards that nourish this wine are located on marl and sandstone soils and are hand-harvested. Once the selected grapes are transported to the winery, the winemaking process begins. The grapes are carefully destemmed and left to macerate. After a gentle pressing, the obtained must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. In the same tanks, the wine ages on its lees for six months, and is refined for two more months in the bottle. The result is a white wine with great finesse and elegance, recognizable by its coppery reflections typical of Pinot Grigio.

In 2016, at the age of 102, Livio Felluga passed away, a great promoter of the wines from the hills of Friuli. Considered the great father of viticulture in this region, he left the management of the winery, with an estate of over 160 hectares, in the hands of the sixth generation of the family. The Livio Felluga winery is the most representative house of the Colli Orientali del Friuli denomination and the beautiful area of Rosazzo. One of the great names in Italian wine.

Livio Felluga Pinot Grigio 2022 is a complex white wine framed in the D.O.C. Colli Orientali del Friuli, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Italy). A tasty, fresh, and enveloping wine with multiple organoleptic qualities, which pairs perfectly with all kinds of fish and seafood, creamy rice dishes, and roasted vegetables.
