General Information

Legaris Roble 2024 reflects the fresher and more accessible character of the Ribera del Duero. Produced exclusively with Tempranillo, it comes from vineyards planted on alluvial soils, calcareous-sandy and rich in rounded stones, conditions that favour balanced grape ripening and a pronounced fruit expression.

Winemaking begins with a rigorous selection of the grape bunches, followed by destemming and a cold maceration designed to enhance aromatic intensity. Subsequently, fermentation develops in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature to preserve all the freshness and typicity of the variety. After malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine remains for three months in American oak barrels, where it gains greater complexity without losing its vitality or the fruit's prominence.

The result is a young, expressive and balanced red, in which aromas of ripe red fruits predominate, accompanied by delicate notes of vanilla, coconut and soft toasts from its short ageing in wood.

Behind this wine stands Bodegas Legaris, one of the leading producers in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. Since its foundation in the late nineties, the winery has pursued careful viticulture and measured winemaking, managing around 100 hectares of vineyard split between the towns of Curiel de Duero and San Martín de Rubiales. This philosophy translates into wines that combine authenticity, balance and respect for the origin.

With an approachable, juicy and especially fruity profile, Legaris Roble 2024 is perfect to enjoy with white meats, salads, pastas, light risottos and fresh cheeses, making it a versatile choice for many occasions.

The winery

Bodegas Legaris
Legaris Winery, part of the Raventós Codorníu group, is located in Curiel de Duero (Valladolid), one of the most privileged areas for cultivating the Tempranillo variety in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. Designed by Domingo Triay, the renowned architect envisioned a building that maintains the connection between the exterior and the interior: the luminous vineyard landscape effortlessly blends into the intimate interior of a winery that is fully functional for the winemaking processes.
