General Information
Lan Gran Reserva 2015 is the result of a meticulous selection of the best batches from a high-quality vintage. It is composed of a blend of 95% tempranillo and 5% mazuelo, using only grapes with the best acidity and concentration of aromas and color. A red wine with longevity in mind, it was aged for 2 years in oak barrels and an additional 3 years in the bottle.
Founded in 1972 in Fuenmayor (Rioja Alta), Bodegas LAN is a true classic among the great Rioja wineries. A pioneer in modernization (for example, it was a forerunner in the use of mixed barrels of French and American oak), it boasts impressive facilities and one of the most commercially well-positioned wine ranges, with a strong market presence. Without a doubt, it is one of the most recognized Rioja brands by consumers for its consistency and excellent value for money.
At LAN, they have been clear from the beginning that winemaking starts with viticulture, and proof of this is their commitment to estate-owned vineyards with the Viña Lanciano estate: 72 hectares of magnificent vineyards divided into 24 plots, which constitute the winery's great viticultural heritage. Currently, LAN is part of the Sogrape company, one of the most prominent Portuguese multinationals in the international wine scene.
Lan Gran Reserva 2015 (D.O.Ca. Rioja) is ideal for pairing with stewed lentils or fabada asturiana, and also perfect with roasted lamb or suckling lamb.
Tasting notes
Deep cherry red color.
On the nose, it is complex and intense, showing aromas of ripe fruit, sweet spices, pastry notes, and a pleasant hint of orange peel.
Enveloping, balanced, mature, juicy, with integrated polished tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Founded in 1972 in Fuenmayor, in the heart of Rioja Alta, Bodegas LAN is a true benchmark in the region. It is one of the most recognized wineries by consumers and one of the best-established in the market, with extensive distribution both nationally and internationally. Today, their wines can be found in 42 countries across five continents, from the USA to Germany, including Peru and Taiwan.
