La Petite Lune 2022 is a red wine resulting from the collaboration between Olivier Bernard (owner of Domaine de Chevalier) and the consultant and winemaker Stéphane Derenoncourt, with the aim of offering the general public the most accessible side of Bordeaux: classic wines, slightly oaked and very enjoyable with a great quality-price ratio. A successful coupage of the noble varieties merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and cabernet franc resulted in a delicious red, light and easy to drink, with a well-integrated acidity that provides a pleasant freshness.

La Petite Lune exhibits a dark and bright burgundy red color. The nose reveals great freshness and quality, with prominent fruity aromas (black cherry, raspberry, blackberry) well combined with notes of cocoa and sweet spices. On the palate, it reveals a very fruity sweetness. Dense and powerful, yet very balanced. The tannins are tender and coated with pulp that radiates fruit. Precise, with excellent acidity that provides a pleasant freshness. Elegant finish.
