La Charla 2023 is a fresh and expressive white wine made in the heart of Castilla, in the historic wine-growing region of Rueda, from a meticulous selection of verdejo complemented with a small contribution of the French variety sauvignon blanc.
The care taken by the Vinos el Paseante team during the harvest is reflected in the enveloping fragrance of this white wine, for which the stems were removed and the berries were macerated for several hours with the aim of extracting the aromas contained in the skins. After fermentation, at a controlled temperature of 14º C, the wine remained with its lees for two months, with the aim of enriching its imprint on the palate.
La Charla 2023 is a wine under the D.O Rueda that pairs well with salads, creams, sautéed vegetables, appetizers, fish and seafood, smoked foods, white meat, legumes, and rice dishes.
La Charla offers an expressive nose marked by aromas of white fruit (pear, melon), accompanied by a tropical character (passion fruit, mango) and light notes of green-aniseed freshness. Soft and fresh entry, with an unctuous mouthfeel balanced by well-integrated acidity and a persistent finish.
