General Information

Komokabras Verde Albariño 2023 is a limited production single-varietal wine made by Adega Entre os Ríos, a small family winery located next to the Arousa estuary, in the Coruña municipality of A Pobra do Caramiñal.

Born from vineyards between 15 and 50 years old, planted in clay and granite soils, the vinification of this albariño is distinguished by the aging of 33% on lees in stainless steel tanks. After a minimum of two months of bottle aging before being released to the market, Komokabras Verde Albariño 2023 reveals itself in the glass as a modern, tasty white, perfect for those who want to discover the wines of Barbanza e Iria.

The winery

Adega Entre os Ríos is a small winery with enotourism accommodation included, located in A Pobra do Caramiñal, on the northwestern shore of the Arousa estuary, in the province of A Coruña. Born from the entrepreneurial initiative of Francisco Crusat, The company initially started with a handful of pre-phylloxera albariño vineyards, from which its founder, Francisco Crusat, crafted wines for the exclusive enjoyment of his own family and friends.

The business grew in size, and today, Crusat's winery is one of the driving forces behind the recovery of the great vineyards that historically existed in this area of Galicia, belonging to the protected geographical indication of Barbanza e Iria. Among its creations, which are also sold in France, Germany, and the U.S., is Altares de Postmarcos, an excellent albariño, selected by the Peñín Guide as one of the 100 best white wines of Spain.
