General Information

Komokabras Rosé D-Mencial 2022 is a single-variety rosé wine made from mencía by Adega Entre os Ríos, a small family-run winery located next to the Arousa estuary, in the town of A Pobra do Caramiñal, in the province of A Coruña.

Born from vineyards planted in schist, clay, and granite soils, the vinification of this mencía began with the destemming and maceration of the harvested fruits for three hours before pressing. After that, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, and the wine obtained was bottled after several months of resting. The result is this Komokabras Rosé D-Mencial 2022, a Galician rosé with a direct character and full of freshness, very delicate and aromatic.

The winery

Adega Entre os Ríos is a small winery with enotourism accommodation included, located in A Pobra do Caramiñal, on the northwestern shore of the Arousa estuary, in the province of A Coruña. Born from the entrepreneurial initiative of Francisco Crusat, The company initially started with a handful of pre-phylloxera albariño vineyards, from which its founder, Francisco Crusat, crafted wines for the exclusive enjoyment of his own family and friends.

The business grew in size, and today, Crusat's winery is one of the driving forces behind the recovery of the great vineyards that historically existed in this area of Galicia, belonging to the protected geographical indication of Barbanza e Iria. Among its creations, which are also sold in France, Germany, and the U.S., is Altares de Postmarcos, an excellent albariño, selected by the Peñín Guide as one of the 100 best white wines of Spain.
