General Information

Jiménez-Landi El Corralón 2023 is the new edition of one of the most iconic red wines from the Sierra de Gredos, a blend dominated by Garnacha and accompanied by small proportions of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. It comes from high-altitude vineyards cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods and has been produced with extreme care to preserve the purity of the fruit. Its style combines finesse, freshness and depth, making it one of the region’s best buys.

Bodegas Jiménez-Landi is one of the wineries that have revolutionised the perception of the Garnacha variety in the Sierra de Gredos. Since 2004, it’s been focused on showcasing the most elegant and expressive side of this variety, with a commitment to respectful viticulture and a production process that prioritises the identity of the terroir. Its work has contributed decisively to putting this region on the map of great Spanish reds, with wines that combine authenticity, sensitivity and impeccable technical execution.

Jiménez-Landi El Corralón 2023 is a wine that will win you over with its authenticity and fantastic value for money. Its production – using part of the whole bunch, fermentation with native yeasts and bottling without filtering – reinforces its straightforward character and natural expression.

Perfect for pairing with roast beef, risottos, spiced grilled meats or cured cold cuts, it’s also an ideal match for any meal that calls for flavour and personality. The high ratings it usually receives in publications such as the Peñín guide or from international critics confirm what’s already apparent in the glass: this is a must-have red for anyone wishing to discover the best of Gredos.

The winery

Bodegas Jiménez - Landi

Owned by the Jiménez-Landi family, the current history of this winery began in 2004 with the launch of a new project based on the reinterpretation of garnacha in a historic cultivation area: the Sierra de Gredos. Moving away from concentrations and power, Jiménez-Landi focused on showcasing the freshest, most elegant, and subtle profile of garnacha. International recognition would soon follow.

The high scores awarded by Robert Parker enabled this small winery with limited productions to achieve success abroad before gaining recognition within our own country.

The commitment to organic and biodynamic agriculture and the artisanal rigor in production are other hallmarks of a winery that champions natural practices: manual harvesting, grape stomping by foot, fermentations with native yeasts, minimal use of sulfur, and aging in large barrels to preserve the wine's personality to the fullest.
