Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire, deserved worldwide fame
The white wines from the Loire (France) made with sauvignon blanc enjoy well-deserved international recognition. Here, in the heart of the Loire Valley, the Jean Marie Reverdy Charme de Loire Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is crafted, a wine that captivates with a fragrant and refined aromatic profile, showcasing notes of white fruit, flowers, and boxwood. On the palate, it reveals an admirable balance between liveliness, smoothness, and an intense aromatic expression.
Jean Marie Reverdy Charme de Loire Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The wine matures for 4 to 6 months in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, in contact with fine lees. It presents itself as clean and floral, and the absence of barrel aging allows the primary aromas of the variety to shine through clearly.
This wine bears the signature of Jean Marie Reverdy & Fils, a family winery of passionate winemakers located in Sancerre, currently managed by brothers Baptiste and Guillaume Reverdy, the fourth generation leading the project. From their 18 hectares of vineyard, situated in the cradle of Sauvignon Blanc, they produce delicate and precise wines that reflect the personality of one of the world's oldest, most prestigious, and recognized terroirs. The winery also holds the High Environmental Value certification.
For the production of Jean Marie Reverdy Charme de Loire Sauvignon Blanc 2025 (I.G.P. Val de Loire), the winery sources Sauvignon Blanc grape must exclusively from three producers in Saint Romain sur Cher, also in the Loire Valley. The must is transported to Sancerre for vinification and bottling, adhering to the same quality standards and winemaking processes applied to their single-vineyard wines, using a classic white winemaking method.
This delightful white wine pairs perfectly with salmon tartare or pasta dishes, such as eggplant ravioli with pumpkin sauce.
Beautiful pale straw yellow color with green iridescence, crystalline and bright.
Intense and elegant aromatic expression where notes of fleshy white fruit stand out: Granny Smith apple; its aromatic journey continues with floral notes of elderflower and herbal hints of boxwood leaf.
Dry on the palate, flavorful, with a certain breadth and a very smooth finish full of the aromatic memories perceived on the nose. Long-lasting final persistence with floral notes.
