White Garnacha grapes, sourced from a small selection of old vineyards, located at almost 800 meters above sea level, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, are the sole ingredientes of Izadi Larrosa Blanco 2023, a single-varietal created by the prestigious winery belonging to the Artevino group.

Izadi Larrosa Blanca 2023 belongs to the Larrosa range from Bodegas Izadi, who produce two essential versions of the Garnacha grape: their rosé, made from the red variety; and now this white, available from the Club, which comes from a selection of old vineyards that grow the white variety, an unusual ingredient in the white wines made in Rioja.
Due to the limited use of white Garnacha in the region, Bodegas Izadi only cultivates it on three small plots with clay-lime soils, located at an altitude of 790 metres above sea level. Izadi Larrosa Blanca 2023 is the result of carefully monitored, precise and manual winemaking. The key to its production lay in gently crushing the grapes quickly grapes as soon as they entered the winery in order to extract all their varietal potential. This goal was achieved, resulting in a white wine with a markedly floral profile, lots of fruit and great freshness. Enjoy it.
Attractive bright yellow colour.
Intense aromas of white and stone fruit dominate the nose, mixed with floral notes.
Pleasant and slightly unctuous on the palate. Its good acidity on the finish gives it depth and a notable hint of fresh fruit.
Founded in 1987 by Gonzalo Antón, Izadi belongs to the second wave of wineries that, in the 1990s, placed Rioja at the forefront of modernity, with a philosophy that prioritizes viticulture, terroir, and vineyard care: the grape as the foundation and main protagonist.
Located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, within the triangle formed by Villabuena, Lapuebla, and Samaniego, Izadi produces wines praised by international critics. It has 187 hectares of vineyards (70 of them owned), distributed across small plots, each with its own unique characteristics and subject to meticulous monitoring. These are old vineyards with high-quality production and low yields. Following this, the winemaking process is based on grape selection and careful, measured aging in barrels from the most renowned oak forests and cooperages.
Izadi was the original winery of the Grupo Artevino, now led by Lalo Antón, son of Gonzalo.
