General Information

Guitián Sobre Lías 2023 is a great godello that radiates all the qualities that have forged Bodegas La Tapada as the spearhead of the whites of Valdeorras, with godello as the protagonist. Qualities shaped by its traditional production process, with the fermentation of the must at low temperature in stainless steel tanks, where it aged alongside its fine lees, stirred every week; but also by the climatic conditions of the vineyard, located between 350 and 550 meters of altitude, with a perfect balance between the strong contrasts of winter and summer and the mild temperatures of spring and autumn.

This wine from Bodegas La Tapada offers penetrating aromas of stone fruits and an intense but fresh hint of citrus. You can pair Guitián Sobre Lías 2023 with dishes like fried anchovies, seafood salad, or appetizers with anchovies.

Tasting notes

On the nose, Guitián Sobre Lías unfolds aromas of stone fruits like peach and citrus (orange peel), followed by vegetal notes of fennel with a finish of white flowers.

On the palate, it presents a very powerful taste, full of aromatic sensations. Great length and aromatic persistence. It offers a fresh and pleasant finish with aromas of kerosene, honey, and bitter orange.
