Ferrer Bobet Vinyes Velles 2020 is crafted from a blend of the cariñena and garnacha tinta grape varieties, native to Priorat. Grapes ripened in vineyards planted on costers of licorella, in the Porrera region, cultivated with the utmost respect and dedication to reflect in the wine the purity and mineral essence of the Tarragona lands.
To produce this excellent Catalan red wine, the grape harvest was carried out manually in 10 kg boxes and subjected to a meticulous classification process on double sorting tables. Upon entering the winery by gravity, the selected grapes underwent fermentation in wooden and stainless steel tanks before being transferred to fine-grain, medium-toast French oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation took place along with an aging period of 15 months. Once bottled, without clarifying or filtering, it was rounded off in the bottle for a minimum of one year before its release.
Ferrer Bobet Vinyes Velles 2020 boasts a pronounced character and mineral complexity thanks to the soils from which it originates. Certified under the D.O.Q. Priorat, it is a wine of intense color, fresh and fruity, with exceptional tannic quality provided by the cariñena grape, making it the perfect pairing for stews, roasts, grilled red meats, and game birds.

Ferrer Bobet was founded in 2002, born from the passion of two friends for the world and culture of wine: Sergi Ferrer-Salat and Raül Bobet. The winery's estate is located in the Porrera area, within the D.O.Q. Priorat. The soils cultivated by the winery consist almost exclusively of llicorella.
