Cune Ribera del Duero 2024 is the ‘ribera’ from CVNE. An exquisite red wine made with tinta del país (tempranillo) grapes and aged for a short period of 5 months in American oak barrels.

Cune Ribera del Duero 2024 is made from Tempranillo grapes from a selection of vineyards located at 800 meters above sea level, on clay-limestone and sandy loam soils, in the town of Villalba del Duero (Burgos). A lively red wine for which traditional winemaking in stainless steel tanks was chosen, complemented by 5 months of aging in second-year American oak barrels.

Protected by the D.O. Ribera del Duero, you can pair Cune Ribera del Duero 2024 with stews, casseroles, and all kinds of meats, including game.

Creators' opinion

The 2024 harvest has been one of the most challenging vintages of the last 10 years, as it was a very rainy year, with precipitation levels above the usual annual average, both from the start of the cycle and up to the harvest period, as well as a very hot summer. Therefore, ripeness controls were extremely thorough at all times to ensure the health of the grapes was not compromised. The harvest began on September 19 and continued until October 13, with a consistent grape collection at the ideal ripeness stage. A fresh year that translates into more aromatic wines with an optimal acidity-alcohol balance, featuring silky and flavorful tannins.
