This collection is a luxury, because it brings together two of the largest and most emblematic labels from Ribera del Duero, well-known nationally and internationally, in an exclusive version for Vinoselección. In addition, both wines come from the Excellent 2020 vintage. You can't miss them!
Condado de Haza Club Reserva 2020 was created at the 'château' winery of the Rivera Fernández family (Tinto Pesquera), located in the Burgos municipality of Roa and constructed in the likeness of a Bordeaux 'château', with a large vineyard of 200 hectares on the same estate. For this wine, the best Tempranillo grapes have been selected from this property, around 30 years old on average, and it's aged for 25 months in American oak barrels. This wine exhibits notes of very ripe fruit and is tasty, full-bodied and with a great balance. Long final persistence with notes of black candied fruit and echoes of chocolate.
For its part, Todo o Nada Viña Mayor Crianza 2020 is the result of the collaboration between our technical team and the brilliant winemaker at the Viña Mayor winery: Almudena Alberca, the first Spanish woman – and the only one to date – with the title of Master of Wine. Following our prerequisites, Almudena designed three different batches, and our team chose the one we are now presenting to you: a wine that integrates balance, structure and complexity. A red wine with very much a ribera profile, with lots of red fruit, lactic and pastry notes, and excellent handling in the barrel.
