De color púrpura intenso, Château de La Dauphine ofrece notas de tarta de frutas, pastel de ciruelas y especias, con toques de ciruelas pasas, tabaco y ecos terrosos. Buen volumen, esqueleto firme y sensaciones de confitura de frutos del bosque en el paladar. Las notas especiadas percibidas en nariz vuelven en la fase gustativa, que destaca por su final terroso.
