Only in years when the harvest quality is truly exceptional does the Laurent Perrier winery produce its Brut Millésimé. This uniqueness makes Laurent Perrier Brut Millèsimé 2015 an extraordinary sparkling wine that expresses, without pretense or artifice, the distinctive style of the house founded in 1812, in the French town of Tours-sur-Marne.
In the design of Laurent Perrier Brut Millèsimé 2008, chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs and pinot noir from the Montagne de Reims were used, two of the best vineyard areas in the A.O.C. Champagne. Specifically, this vintage originates from no less than nine Grand Cru terroirs, which are of the highest quality classification in the region. The excellent raw materials and a traditional production process, crowned by 7 years of aging on lees, resulted in this unique champagne, ideal for pairing with ham, poultry dishes, white meats, and savory pastries.
Light golden yellow color with a steely rim and fine effervescence bubbles.
A very delicate yet direct nose. Bright floral notes (orange blossom) stand out, along with elegant aromas of toasted bread, butter, and Williams pear.
On the initial attack, it reveals boldness, with citrus flavors and a saline touch that give way to notes of white fruit and a finish of bitter orange. Great intensity and freshness.
Founded in 1812 and located in the town of Tours-sur-Marne, at the crossroads of the three main subregions of the French Champagne region (Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs), Laurent Perrier is an old family winery that has always been at the forefront of crafting unique and elegant sparkling wines. This has made it one of the great houses in this production area, ranking among the most coveted in the world. In 1949, under the leadership of Bernard de Nonancourt, Laurent-Perrier’s philosophy became one of prioritizing quality above all else. He was responsible for passing down traditional Champagne-making concepts to new generations. Under his direction, Laurent-Perrier grew to become one of the most important family-owned houses in the Champagne region and one of the most renowned brands. This success is, above all, the result of a commitment to uphold age-old traditions: respect for nature and wine, a love for quality, and strong, lasting relationships with the men and women who make up the company. It is also the result of the energy deployed by Bernard de Nonancourt, creator of Laurent-Perrier's style and range, and by his daughters Alexandra and Stéphanie, who have successfully preserved the independence of the House and perpetuated its values to this day. The independent spirit of the House has been the driving force behind its oenological creativity and the origin of the birth and success of a range of unique Champagne wines, crafted by Michel Fauconnet, cellar master. These wines are unique thanks to their philosophy, which serves as a source of inspiration during their production, as well as their style, flavor, and consistent quality, year after year. Laurent Perrier crafts its champagnes with the intention of achieving both the prestige of a great wine or a mark of distinction, flavor, and elegance, as well as the finest pleasures, singular and diverse. The result is wines of pleasure. A broad and diverse range that makes them ideal for numerous and varied occasions. Laurent-Perrier’s ambition is to offer wine professionals worldwide champagnes capable of captivating, seducing, and earning the trust of customers who enjoy discovering the universe of Champagne. Laurent-Perrier’s aim is to ensure that its customers not only recognize the prestige of a great wine or a mark of distinction, with its own flavor and elegance, but also discover unique and varied pleasures.
