Created in homage to one of the two founders of the centenary house that produces it, Champagne Cuvée William Deutz is an exclusive sparkling wine that embodies the classicism of the most renowned French wines.
Only in years when the harvest has been exceptional does the Champagne Cuvée William Deutz come to light, a refined coupage of pinot noir, chardonnay, and pinot meunier grapes, selected from Grand Cru vineyards and aged for a minimum of five years, 25 meters deep in the underground cellar of Deutz.
This complex, rich, and full-bodied sparkling wine is probably one of the most distinguished produced by the centuries-old house of Deutz. Founded in the 19th century in Ay, the winery's main credentials lie in its exceptional 42-hectare vineyard and its personal style. Its wines, like Champagne Cuvée William Deutz, stand out for the high quality of the raw materials used in their production and the long aging processes they undergo, resulting in true treasures in the glass, marked by elegance and exclusivity.

Deutz is one of the historic maisons of Champagne. Founded in Ay in 1838 by William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, the house owns 42 hectares of vineyards in some of the most important areas of Champagne, including the renowned Côte des Blancs, with nearly 80% of its wines coming from Grand Cru and Premier Cru plots.
Tradition defines the style of Champagne Deutz, with the use of reserve wines, crafted in-house, for blending. This results in refined, elegant, and consistent sparkling wines, alongside a commitment to long aging, in some cases ranging from 7 to 10 years.
Since 1983, after generations under the Deutz and Geldermann families, the house was sold to the Rouzaud family, owners of Louis Roederer. Today, Champagne Deutz produces 2.5 million bottles annually, exporting part of its production to more than 40 countries.
