General Information

Beanue du Château Premier Cru 2021 is a red wine that perfectly reflects the style of the winery that produces it, Bouchard Père & Fils, distinguished by exclusivity and complexity, and the unique richness of the terroir of the A.O.C. Beune from which it originates. In its creation, pinot noir grapes from a total of 17 small plots, all classified as Premier Cru, were meticulously vinified separately to produce a fragrant, harmonious, and balanced single-varietal wine.

Beanue du Château is one of the most accessible Premier Crus crafted by Bouchard Père & Fils and represents the perfect choice to delve into the fascinating world of Burgundy wines. All this comes from one of its oldest and most significant wineries, founded in 1731 in the commune of Beune, in the legendary Côte d’Or, the best production area of this world-renowned French region. Don’t hesitate and get this exceptional Bouchard Père & Fils Beanue du Château Premier Cru 2021 to enjoy with your finest dishes of meat in sauce and chicken.

Tasting notes

In appearance, it shows a beautiful dark garnet color with shades ranging from brown to mauve.

A complex and perfumed nose with prominent aromas of red fruits and figs, with a touch of chocolate.

On the palate, it is harmonious, deep, and mature, with dense and elegant tannins.

The winery

The French commune of Beaune has been home, since 1731, to Bouchard Père & Fils, one of the oldest maisons in the Burgundy region. The property boasts a castle built by Louis XI in 1482 and one of the most impressive winegrowing heritages in the area: 130 hectares of vineyards in the legendary Côte d’Or, 12 of which are Grand Cru and another 74 Premier Cru.

Combining tradition with the latest technical advancements, the winery has managed to preserve its essence and the exceptional quality of its wines, making them indispensable references of Burgundy. Diversity is another hallmark of Bouchard Père & Fils, reflected in the different appellations under which it produces its creations, including Chevalier-Montrachet, Montrachet, Corton, Corton-Charlemagne, Meursault Genevriêres, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chassage-Montrachet, and Beaune.
