Young, fruity, and fresh. This is Artazuri Garnacha Rosé 2025, an organic rosé that perfectly represents the winemaking tradition of Navarra, bearing the quality seal of Artazu, a winery that is part of the prestigious Artadi group.

Artazu is the Navarre winery of the Rioja giant Artadi, and Artazuri Garnacha Rosé 2025 is the latest vintage of its delicate rosé, made 100% from Garnacha grapes cultivated by the winery in the Valdizarbe valley, planted on white clay-limestone soils at an altitude between 450 and 600 meters.

The Navarre project of Juan Carlos López de Lacalle, the alma mater of Artadi, is rooted in the recovery of this variety, traditional in this denomination of origin in northern Spain. He set his sights on the town of Artazu in 1996 with the aim of producing great wines from it, following the principles of organic viticulture. Artazuri Garnacha Rosé 2025 perfectly embodies the philosophy of the winery. A rosé wine from the D.O. Navarra to enjoy without reservations, the perfect companion for appetizers, tempura vegetables, salads, and pasta dishes.

Tasting notes

Bright strawberry pink color.

With a frank nose, it presents aromas of red fruit alongside herbal notes and delicate hints of confectionery.

On the palate, it is aromatic and balanced, flavorful, fresh, with a smooth and fruity flow and a finish of good intensity.

The winery

Artazu

In his Navarre project, López de Lacalle revives the emblematic variety of the denomination, Garnacha, for the production of great red wines. The vineyards he works with are located in the heart of Valdizarbe, an area that offers the best climate and soil conditions to produce wines of exceptional quality. Artadi represents the forefront of Spanish wine, a house that has become a benchmark of quality on an international level. In fact, it is one of the five wineries in the entire national history to have received the highest score from guru Robert Parker (100 points out of 100) for one of its wines: Viña el Pisón 2004. A rating that places it on par with the legendary French, Italian, or Californian wines, and that has elevated this winery and its creator, Juan Carlos López de Lacalle, to the Olympus of the Gods. Their wines are very difficult to obtain, sold only through allocations. Since López de Lacalle founded Artadi in 1985 as a cooperative, the trajectory of this Rioja winery has been meteoric. Today, it is an internationally acclaimed winery whose success translates into enormous difficulty in acquiring its wines. The Artazu winery was founded in 1996 in the Alava town of the same name, with the intention of producing single-varietal wines with the traditional variety of the area: Garnacha. The wines of Artazuri come from young vineyards and are fresh and fruity, vibrant and carefree. Another of its attractions is having made the wines of this prestigious Rioja house accessible to the general public. The wines of Artazu offer an excellent quality-price ratio without compromising their magnificent quality.
