Vinum Terrae

After more than ten years of winemaking in Ribera del Duero, Vinum Terrae has established itself as one of the most interesting wineries among those that have emerged in the Castilian-Leonese D.O. over the past decade. Thanks to the support of one of the most important winemaking groups in Portugal, Vinum Terrae faces the future with the premise of committing to quality no matter what.

The vineyard of Vinum Terrae stretches around Castrillo de Duero (Valladolid). Here, the winery owns different plots, among which El Lotero stands out, an eleven-hectare estate cultivated in trellis and located on poor soils at almost 900 meters above sea level; and La Cañada, with six hectares of vines planted on calcareous and rocky soils where only the best vines survive. The winery also oversees small plots in the La Aguilera area, in some cases with century-old vines.
