Venta la Ossa

Located on the agricultural estate called Finca La Solana, in Herencia (Ciudad Real), Venta La Ossa is a young project, endorsed by the wine of the same name, which many already consider, with only three vintages on the market, one of the best red wines from Castilla-La Mancha. The winery, small in size and with an artisanal vocation, is completely surrounded by vineyards, planted over the last decade, where the behavior of noble varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, or Petit Verdot is studied, along with others more recently adapted, such as Monastrell or Graciano. Complementing the viticultural heritage is a group of more than one hundred small plots of old Tempranillo vineyards. The exclusive production process carried out by the winery is noteworthy, as it produces no more than 100,000 bottles per year, a rather small quantity compared to other wineries in La Mancha. Venta La Ossa is one of the wineries that exemplifies how the vineyards of La Mancha have been transformed, with wineries committed to technological innovation and pursuing quality over quantity.
