Terroir d Origem

Terroir d´Origem is a Portuguese winery owned by the Freitas family, with a production of only 55,000 bottles annually. Established in Casal de Loivos, in the province of Alijó located in the Douro Superior, the winemaking of the estate is overseen by consultant Carlos Lucas, supported by winemaker Paulo Coutinho. Lucas was recognized in 2010 by the newspaper O Publico as one of the ten most influential winemakers in the neighboring country.
