Tantaka Wines

The winery Tantaka Wines was founded in 2007, thanks to the perseverance of the winemaker Juanjo Tellaetxe, who works under a clear premise: to produce wines as his family did more than 80 years ago, wines made from native varieties and in his hometown.

The winery is located in the municipality of Artomaña, situated in the valley of Arrastaria, in the north of the province of Álava, in the Basque Country and within the D.O. Arabako-Txacolina. For the winemaker, it is possible to reclaim his region, believing in its great potential for producing quality wines, honest and with a local character, always respecting the natural environment.
