Spanish Palate

Spanish Palate
Botas de Barro is the range of wines produced by the Spanish Palate firm, founded in 2015 and focused on seeking high-quality old vineyards in different regions as a tribute to the generations of farmers who have cared for these plants over the years. Álvaro Martín, winemaker, and Nicola Thornton, general manager, are the names behind this project, which already includes wines from six denominations of origin in our country: Rioja, Toro, Jumilla, Almansa, Ribera del Duero, and Rueda, always committed to old vineyards and aiming for a wine profile where fruit takes precedence over oak nuances. Currently, Spanish Palate produces 150,000 bottles per year, allocating 60% of the total production to the international market.
