Shafer Vineyards

Shafer Vineyards

In 1973, John Shafer left his life in Chicago and moved, accompanied by his family, to Napa Valley, on the east coast of the USA.

Without any knowledge of viticulture or enology, the beginnings for the Shafer family were not easy, but their adventurous spirit and tremendous determination drove them to surround themselves with a great team of professionals to start their project producing cabernet sauvignon wines.

Little by little, they increased their vineyard, varieties, and references, expanding a catalog that, to this day, consists of 6 wines made from cabernet, merlot, malbec, and chardonnay; small and exclusive productions with great international recognition.
