Selección Lucendo

Selección Lucendo is a small, artisanal winery run by brothers Rafael and Federico Lucendo, the fourth generation of one of the most respected families of winemakers in Castilla-La Mancha. Both brothers aim for distinctive quality, working with small productions of artisanal wines made from organic vineyards, the oldest in the region, located in Quero (Toledo). Their great-grandfather, César Lucendo Asensi, began the winemaking legacy of the family by founding Bodegas Lucendo in 1919. Since then, successive generations of the Lucendo family have remained connected to wine.

The Lucendo family has produced the finest wines for decades for major companies in Castilla-La Mancha, in addition to their own brand, always characterized by their innovative and dynamic spirit: they were pioneers in the production of organic wines, natural wines, sulfite-free wines, and carbonic maceration wines. Today, they achieve success with unique wines such as El Linze, or the great red wine conceived as a tribute to their ancestors: "César Lucendo A.”
