Bodegas San Martín is one of those hidden gems that keeps the most authentic essence of Navarra alive. Founded in 1914 in San Martín de Unx, in the heart of Navarra’s Baja Montaña, it has spent more than a century working vineyards spread across ravines, slopes and Mediterranean mountain landscapes, a unique setting for growing Garnacha. Born as a cooperative project of the village’s winegrowers, the winery has successfully combined tradition and modernity without abandoning its roots, becoming a benchmark for the recovery and promotion of the area’s historic varieties. Today, supported by the vision of winemakers such as Gonzalo Celayeta and a firm commitment to quality, it continues to produce wines with identity, capable of conveying the distinctive character of one of the most fascinating and lesser-known wine regions in Spain.
