Roqueta Origen

The Roqueta family has centuries of history linked to viticulture and wine production. Their story dates back to the year 1199, the date of the family farmhouse, where this lineage began working the vineyard. Valentí Roqueta Gillamet joined the family business after studying Oenology in France. In 1982, he took on the position of Managing Director. A year later, in 1983, he founded Bodegas Abadal. In 2015, Valentí Roqueta was awarded the "Oenologist for Best Professional Career" prize by the Catalan Association of Oenologists.

Currently, the Grupo Roqueta Origen (owned by the Roqueta family) is composed of four wineries: Ramón Roqueta, Abadal, Crin Roja, LAFOU, and Vins de Relat. This latest project, Vins de Relat, debuted with the 2017 vintage and will launch its first bottles to the market in December 2018.
