Propiedad de Arínzano

Propiedad de Arínzano

Just a few kilometers southeast of Estella (Navarra), along the flow of the Ega River and surrounded by holm oak and poplar forests, lies the D.O. Pago de Arínzano. A total of 128 hectares recognized as its own denomination of origin (Vino de Pago) since 2007. A protected space that also constitutes a rich natural and architectural habitat.

The winery's journey began in 1988 under the guidance of the Chivite family, who invested in this historic estate (the oldest winemaking property in Spain, dating back to the 11th century) to produce high-quality wines that reflect the terroir. Since 2015, Propiedad de Arínzano has been part of the SPI Group.

The prestigious architect Rafael Moneo was entrusted with designing the facilities, aiming for integration with the landscape and harmony with the other historic buildings. Inside, advanced techniques coexist with artisanal care.

Propiedad de Arínzano is also one of the northernmost winemaking estates in Spain, and its location is ideal for cultivating red varieties typical of northern latitudes as well as white grapes. All benefit from a cool continental climate that translates into wines of great elegance and aging potential. Currently, it produces the labels Hacienda de Arínzano Tinto, Hacienda de Arínzano Blanco, A de Arínzano, La Casona de Arínzano, Merlot Agricultura Biológica, Gran Vino Blanco, and Gran Vino Tinto.
