Poggio al Gello

Podere Poggio al Gello is a company established in 1998, located in the province of Grosseto, in the heart of Maremma Toscana. A firm that owns a 16-hectare property divided between olive groves and vineyards (a little over four hectares) and produces around 20,000 bottles annually. Most of the vineyard surrounding the winery consists of native varieties, such as Sangiovese or Pugnitello, which is the star of this red wine; although it also includes some vines of the Bordeaux variety Petit Verdot.
