Founded by Jesús Cantarero (owner of Bodegas Fontana) and Master of Wine Andreas Kubach, and under the oenological direction of fellow Master of Wine Sam Harrop, Península Vinicultores is a company dedicated to the production of wines originating from Uclés, Rioja Alavesa, Castilla, and the historic wine-producing areas of the Sistema Central.
The pursuit of authenticity, through sustainable viticulture, guides the steps of the firm, which has in Vinos de Montaña one of its most attractive lines. Under this name, they produce delicate and fragrant red wines, crafted from old vineyards (mainly garnacha), located at high altitudes in the surroundings of the Gredos and Gata mountain ranges.
