Parajes de los Vidrios is a young winery located in the Madrid part of the Sierra de Gredos. Behind this brand is Miguel Ángel Sánchez, a well-known wine distributor and the 5th generation of winegrowers in the area, who acquired various plots in the municipalities of Cadalso de los Vidrios and San Martín de Valdeiglesias. The project also includes the winemaker Manuel Manzaneque and the distribution company Aseuniv Grandes Vinos. The goal of this brand is to create fine and elegant Madrid wines that reflect the personality of the terroir.
Their vineyards are situated between 800 and 920 meters above sea level and are planted with garnacha and albillo vines aged between 60 and 100 years. The vines grow in poor, sandy, and granitic soils, plowed with horses. They are cultivated following organic and biodynamic practices. In the winery, low-intervention methods are used to create honest wines that reflect the terroir.
