Founded in 2017, Milsetentayseis is a riverside project backed by the prestigious Alma Carraovejas group, which also includes the brands Pago de Carraovejas, Ossian, Viña Meín-Emilio Rojo, and Aiurri. The goal pursued by Pedro Ruiz (CEO of Alma Carraovejas) with this project is to reflect the essence of the unique terroir of Fuentenebro. A small municipality in the south of the province of Burgo, with a mining past, whose vineyards are located at an altitude nearing 1000 m, bathed by an extreme climate and on clay soils rich in minerals (feldspar, quartz, and mica). Here, they have begun to rescue small century-old plots and carry out new plantings. The winery's range consists of this red wine that bears the name of the brand, and a unique estate rosé: Milsetentayseis La Peña.
