Heredad de Urueña is one of the most attractive projects developed in Castilla y León in recent years. The restoration of a 17th-century Castilian farmhouse and the recovery of the vineyard have allowed the Valladolid town of Urueña to boast one of the most promising wineries in the region.
Under the technical direction of Jesús Herranz – assisted by agronomist Marcelo Casazza – Heredad de Urueña produces several wines, among which the red Fórum stands out, an impressive blend of Tinta de Toro and Tinta del País, classified under the geographical indication Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla y León. In the D.O. Toro, it produces Moisés, another red wine whose vinification and aging take place in the winery of Michel Rolland and François Lurton under the care of their team of collaborators, including Tomás Vega and the winemakers Jesús Jiménez (technical director), Víctor Vidal, and Juan José Parra.
