Frank Cornelissen

The Azienda Agricola Frank Cornelissen was founded in 2001. The man who gives his name to this winery, Frank Cornelissen, is the son of a Belgian wine distributor who has been connected to this world from a very young age. He began producing his own wines at an early age and, today, he stands out for crafting natural wines with great body using biodynamic viticulture methods.

His vineyards are located in the northern valley of the active Etna volcano, in the heart of the island of Sicily. The winery spans 24 hectares, most of which are old vines thriving on volcanic slopes.

The winery produces single-vineyard wines that represent the incredible diversity of vineyards in the northern Etna valley. Each of them is an individual expression of exceptional vineyards, vinified and bottled separately. The philosophy of the winery is to follow nature itself in vineyard work, maintaining a commitment to clean and highly organized winemaking. With these parameters, Frank Cornelissen manages to craft exceptional wines of great complexity and minerality.

The winery is affiliated with the following designations of origin: DOP Sicilia, Etna Rosso DOP, or IGP Terre Siciliane Nerello Mascalese, IGP Terre Siciliane Bianco, and IGP Terre Siciliane Rosato.
