Fattoria Il Casalone

To the east of Laguna de Orbetello lies the Fattoria Il Casalone winery. A 300-hectare estate where vines have been cultivated since the 1960s, when the former owner introduced twelve hectares of traditional varieties and some international ones like Cabernet Sauvignon. More recently, under the leadership of Pepi Lignana, the estate has replanted twelve hectares, applying modern viticultural systems to craft wines of exceptional quality under the expertise of renowned enologist Paolo Caciornia.
