Domaines Uijttewaal

Located in the heart of the Médoc, Domaines Uijttewaal is a winery founded by a family with Dutch roots in the 1980s.

In 2006, Adrien Uijttewaal acquired a vineyard a few kilometers from Château Saint-Hilaire to restore it and create a ‘gourmet’ wine with a predominantly fruity character. He named it Gémeillan. Since 2009, Château Gémeillan has been recognized as Cru Bourgeois. Additionally, the winery's wines carry the Viticulture Terra-Vitis certification, which endorses sustainable and responsible viticulture.
