Domaine de la Romanée-Conti

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is located in what is considered by many to be the best 'terroir' in the world. An estate with a centuries-old winemaking history, situated in Vosne-Romanée, a small village in the Burgundy region, in the Côte d'Or.

Led by Aubert de Villaine (with several generations linked to the estate), it encompasses 25 hectares of vineyards cultivated in a valley. From its grapes, some of the most sought-after wines in the world are produced, capable of reaching exorbitant prices (in 2012, the auction house Sotheby's sold a case of 1990 Romanée-Conti for nearly 300,000 dollars).

Divided into several 'crus,' what truly stands out are its soils of red clay, limestone, gravel, and stones, where the pinot noir grape achieves its finest expression. All work is carried out manually, and they practice organic and biodynamic viticulture.
