The French actor Gérard Depardieu and the French winemaker Bernard Magrez have demonstrated their expertise with this label, praised by international critics. In 2003, the French actor Gérard Depardieu arrived in Spain alongside Bernard Magrez, owner of the prestigious Château Pape Clément in Bordeaux. In Toro, they produce Spiritus Sancti, taking advantage of the unique characteristics of Tinta de Toro to craft wines with a Bordeaux-style expression, a true fusion of styles with a surprising result; and in Priorat, they produce another red wine, Sine Nomine. Depardieu, a self-confessed wine enthusiast, takes an active role in the production process, from the harvest to the blending of varieties and the bottling stage.
