Dão Sul

Ribeiro Santo is a brand co-owned by the winemaker Carlos Lucas and integrated into the Dão Sul Sociedade Vitivinícola group, one of the most dynamic companies in the neighboring country. Founded in 1990 by a group of innovative small producers from the Dão region who joined forces, they soon expanded their winemaking vision to other areas such as Douro, Bairrada, Estremadura, and Alentejo. Both in 2001 and 2006, the company was awarded by the prestigious “Revista do Vinhos” as the winemaking company of the year in Portugal.
