Criadores de Rioja

Criadores de Rioja was born as a project by a group of small producers and winegrowers who wanted to showcase the full qualitative potential of the vineyards in the central part of Rioja. A firm committed to respecting traditional and artisanal methods. Their vineyards are spread across different municipalities located in the Iregua river valley, at altitudes between 440 and 600 m, on a rich diversity of soils and a climate that combines Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, with low rainfall.

The winery vinifies each plot separately, as they reach their optimal degree of ripeness, and produces young varietal wines from native grapes and aged wines in French and American oak barrels.
