Bodegas Conde de San Cristóbal

Bodegas y Viñedos del Conde de San Cristóbal was founded in the year 2000 in the municipality of Peñafiel, with the same philosophy as the other wineries of the Marqués de Vargas group, to which it belongs: producing high-quality wines from its own vineyards and limited productions. It debuted on the market in 2003 and inaugurated new facilities in 2006.

Today, it has 80 hectares of vineyards near Peñafiel, spread across plots at an altitude of between 780 and 900 meters, with different types of soils, and vines with an average age of 30 years. Its wines are crafted under the guidance of Jorge Peique (enólogo) and Xavier Ausás (consultant).
