Castillo Clavijo

The winery Castillo Clavijo is located in Alberite. In their wines, they aim to faithfully represent the traditional style of Rioja, but with the modern touch brought by the young winemaker Paloma Redondo.

The winery is named after the Castillo Clavijo (10th century) located 6 km from the winery. Between its own vineyards and supervised ones (maintaining agreements with local growers), the winery manages 550 hectares of vineyards, spread across 28 municipalities in the central part of the D.O.Ca. Rioja, with varying altitudes, orientations, cultivation systems, and grape varieties.
