Bodegas Vinos de León was founded in 1966 by the association of the main wine merchants in the area. It has its own vineyards and the most advanced technical means for the production and elaboration of its wines, with a winery capacity of nearly 6 million liters. This company is responsible for the introduction of the prieto picudo grape variety in the country, and its success lies in the constant analytical monitoring of the fruit until it reaches its optimal ripeness.
