Bodegas Tierras de Peñafiel

Founded in the year 2000, Tierras de Peñafiel is a small winery that represents the personal challenge of its founder, Rubén Ramos, an enthusiastic winemaker who carries on a long family tradition.

It has fourteen hectares of its own vineyards in the Peñafiel area, on the southern slope of the heart of the Ribera del Duero. Vineyards of the traditional tempranillo, which are tended with absolute care, regulating production according to the characteristics of each harvest.

With manual harvesting and winemaking that limits treatments in the wines, with minimal intervention, and careful, long macerations, Rubén Ramos crafts red wines that fully respect the characteristics of the grapes, full of typicity, personality, and concentration.
