Bodegas Terrazul Harwony

Bodegas Terrazul (2004) is a winery that stands out for its focus on quality and innovation, combining traditional techniques with modern practices. With a strong commitment to sustainability, it has earned a prominent place in the Uruguayan wine industry.

The winery is located a few kilometers west of Montevideo, in the Libertad area, within the department of San José (south of Uruguay). San José is the fourth largest wine-producing region in the country, with approximately 300 hectares of vineyards, and is renowned for its tannat wines, the country's emblematic variety. Here, Terrazul benefits from a highly advantageous location on the 34th parallel, similar to Chile, Australia, and Argentina, where the best wines of the New World are produced.

The winery is led by French winemaker Didier Cornillon, creator of the Terrazul range, and is supported by 30 hectares of vineyards spread across clay soils rich in organic matter and caressed by Atlantic breezes. It exclusively works with the red tannat variety and the white sauvignon blanc.
