Bodega Otazu

Bodega Otazu

Otazu is the northernmost vineyard in Spain with the Protected Designation of Origin Pago (D.O.P. Pago). It is located just eight kilometers from Pamplona and is framed between the Sierra del Perdón and the Sierra del Sarbil. Otazu is certified with the Protected Designation of Origin Pago, the highest category that can be obtained in Spain, achieved thanks to the uniqueness of the climate and soil that define the Otazu vineyard and the personality of its wines.

The impressive facilities, built in the style of French châteaux, are surrounded by 110 hectares of their own vineyards—the northernmost in Spain, which have been producing some of the best wines from Navarre for years. Bodega Otazu exclusively produces wines using the fruits of its 110 hectares of vineyards, cultivated with the varieties chardonnay, tempranillo, merlot, and cabernet sauvignon, almost in equal proportion. Part of its wines are marketed under the D.O. Navarra seal and another part under the D.O.P. Pago de Otazu seal.
