Bodegas Ochoa

Bodegas Ochoa was founded in 1845 and is one of the oldest active wineries in our country. It is documented that Ochoa de Ayanz, mayor of Olite in the mid-14th century, was already engaged in winemaking in this illustrious Navarrese town. During the second half of the 19th century, Bodegas Ochoa began to gain international recognition in the form of awards and medals at world exhibitions and even became one of the pioneering Spanish wineries to sell wine across the Atlantic, specifically in the United States. The 20th century witnessed the definitive consolidation of Ochoa, especially under the leadership of Adriano Ochoa Luna, a visionary who also ventured into marketing high-quality vinegar.

Today, the winery is managed by the Ochoa sisters, Adriana and Beatriz, the sixth generation of the family. Bodegas Ochoa practices organic vineyard farming and is committed to innovation and wine tourism.
